THE BLUE LAGOON AT THE DORAL GOLF RESORT AND SPA
Doral Golf Resort and Spa has added recreational amenities for
the whole family with the addition of the Blue Lagoon, an aquatic
recreation area.
The Blue Lagoon
The Great White Falls, the origin of the Blue Lagoon’s water
flow, pumps more than one million gallons of water daily
throughout this new pool area. The Blue Lagoon is unique to Doral
and is the only one of its kind at a South Florida resort.
Features include:
- 85,000-gallon, zero-entry pool with cascading waterfall
- 125,000-gallon, serpentine pool with rock facade
- Tad Pool for kids ages three to five
- 125-foot Blue Monster waterslide with a 35-foot drop
- 24 poolside cabanas furnished with amenities
- beach and boardwalk areas
- Bungalou’s Bar and Grill restaurant
- poolside spa services for parents
Camp Doral
With a 1,200-square-foot indoor facility located on the Blue
Lagoon, Camp Doral offers supervised, interactive programming for
children ages five to 12. Camp Doral operates daily from 9:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m. Half-day sessions are offered as well. The cost,
including the use of sports equipment and arts and crafts
materials, ranges from $25 for a half day to $47.50 for a full
day, including lunch. Full day programs include a T-shirt. A
24-hour advance reservation is requested.

"Camp Doral is a special place for
youngsters ages 5 - 12. It’s a warm child-friendly environment
where children can enjoy fully supervised, age- appropriate
activities," says Stephen Geisz, recently appointed Director
of Recreation. Having a wide range of experience, Geisz has a
trunk filled with zany ideas that promises to keep children
motivated and happy all year long, while their parents can rest
easy knowing that their children are in good hands. Physical,
athletic and creative programs include swimming, fishing, tennis,
golf, soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, pool games, lawn
darts, music, nature walks and arts & crafts. A
state-of-the-art Sega Genesis video game room is stocked with
games, toys, movies, and sports equipment.
Youth Amenities
Doral provides families with all the necessary equipment to
make their stay worry-free including:
- cribs and high chairs
- video arcade
- in-room movies
- kid’s menus
- children’s books in Camp Doral Library
Baby Sitting Service:
In-room baby-sitting and group sitting services are available
year round. All services must be booked 24 hours in advance.
Doral Golf
Resort and Spa is located on 650 acres, featuring 90 holes of
championship golf, 693 rooms, 11 tennis courts, and a world-class
spa.
