Free Catamaran Ride Offered with Five-Night Stays at all
Outrigger and OHANA Properties in Waikiki
HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAII - Visitors to Oahu can sail the waters
of Waikiki for FREE with a new value-added offer available at all Outrigger and OHANA properties in Waikiki.
"Free Sailing in Waikiki" is available from April 1
through December 31, 2003, and entitles guests of Outrigger Hotels & Resorts
and OHANA Hotels& Resorts in Waikiki to one free catamaran sail per room aboard the brand
new Outrigger Catamaran.
The offer is valid for any five-night consecutive stay,
including packages and discounted rates directly booked with Outrigger or OHANA
by the guest or a travel agent. The offer is not available to tour wholesale packages
and groups.
One "Free Sailing in Waikiki" voucher per room is
presented at check-in. The voucher is non-transferable, expires on the date
indicated and is valid for one person. As an added bonus, guests receive a 10% discount on
additional catamaran voyages purchased when redeeming the voucher. Discount is
not combinable with other coupons or offers.
The Outrigger Catamaran ride (a $30 value) consists of a 1˝
hour voyage across the crystal waters of Waikiki and around Diamond Head where
schools of Spinner and Bottlenose dolphins are often sighted, along with
Humpback Whales during the winter months. The 45-foot boat affords dramatic
views of the skyline of Waikiki, the Koolau Mountain Range, Diamond Head lighthouse and the Kahala coast, as well as spectacular green flash sunsets.
Moored on the beach in front of the Outrigger Reef hotel,
this sleeksailing vessel offers five cruises per day, which include a morning snorkeling voyage each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, speed sailing excursions
throughout the day and a sunset cruise each afternoon. One complimentary beverage is included with every ride.
The Outrigger Catamaran is the biggest, fastest and most
comfortable boat on Waikiki Beach. At 45 feet long and 28 feet wide, it is the
most stable sailing vessel on the beach. As a Trans Pacific speed record holder,
it is also the fastest, and therefore smoothest at cutting through swells.
Features include a full service bar, deluxe comfort cushion
seating, a restroom with hand washing sink, all new USCG safety equipment, a sun
tanning trampoline net and CD surround-sound stereo system. Bright teal hulls
and sail designs make the Outrigger Catamaran easily identifiable and one of the
