thermos with hot water provides an easy, way to heat up a
bottle during travel or at night in the hotel room.

check out your local dollar store for little toys and
items that you can give your children at unexpected times as a surprise

freeze juice boxes or water bottles (1/2 and then add
water before you leave) for cold drinks on hot days.

take a frozen cloth in a zip lock bag to cool kids down
on hot days

Have a supply of garbage or plastic bags for emergencies

wet naps make for easy quick clean ups

avoid latex balloons, small
toys and hard pieces of food due to the risk of choking.

roll towels and
place under doors to reduce noise and light from hallways in
your hotel room.

An
extra pacifier or favourite blanket can be a saving grace (a
parent wrote us about a favourite blanket that was left in a
hotel and had to be couriered to the next hotel).
